What we collect

• Account information: your email address and chosen username.
• Your activity: the golf courses you rank, your scores, want-to-play bookmarks, and who you follow.
• Phone number (optional): you can link your phone number so friends who have it in their contacts can find you. It is never shown to other users, and you can unlink it at any time from your profile.

Finding friends from contacts

• Contact matching is optional and only runs with your permission.
• Only phone numbers are sent to our servers, solely to check them against linked accounts. Contact names never leave your device.
• Your contacts' numbers are not stored — they are compared and discarded.

How it's used

• Your rankings power your personal course list and the community average ratings shown to other users.
• Your username, rankings, and lists are visible to other signed-in 3Wood users — that's the social heart of the app.
• Your email address is never shown to other users and is used only for sign-in.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
• We don't collect your location. It's used on your device to center the map and suggest nearby courses — it is never sent to our servers.

Data storage

Data is stored with Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL) in the United States.

Deleting your account

In the app: Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, rankings, bookmarks, and follows. You can also email us to request deletion.
